Moderate pace only with Daphnes leading Oakfield Mars. Very intriguing maiden with a host of possibilities. MICHELANGELO (3) is a five-start maiden yet to place but was tested to the top-level finishing eighth in the Gr1 Champagne Stakes before a break. Long spell and gelded since. Some of his worst ratings are better than these so could well get off the mark here fresh if on song. DAPHNES (2) was a close-up sixth fresh at Canterbury and will relish the extra ground. Fitter and expected to improve sharply. YATTAZOU (4) has placed one of five but has been going around in far richer maidens. Back in trip and will be tough to stop. SAVEUR (8) sat wide throughout with no cover fresh and the run far better than it looked. Drawn for a perfect trail this time and no surprise to see sharp improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Michelangelo fresh.
