Genuine tempo with the speedy Rub Of The Green leading the way. KATIYA (10) was safely held on heavy ground on debut then ran a better race over 1400m last time. Heading the right way and will take catching this trip. FIGHTING EDGE (4) finished third at Tatura two back but then disappointed over 1406m at Benalla. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better from the low draw. BACK TO NEW YORK (1) has missed the frame in both runs to date, but did turn in a much better effort last time when got back but ran on hard to finish fourth over 1300m at Echuca. Fitter and the longer journey is a positive. TURN ME ROYALE (12) was safely held fresh over six furlongs but will be fitter and better placed over this longer journey.
