They look to roll along early with Town Belt and Tembo leading the charge. ELEGANT EXPLOSIVE (6) has been mixing her form, but may have found the right race here. He whacked away fairly when finishing fourth on the poly track at Riccarton a month ago. She can do better, and should be right in the finish this time. EIGHT LUCKY PRAWNS (5) has not had much luck in 3 starts since making the move from the North Island. Having Sam Weatherley in the saddle will help, as will the winkers going on for the first time. Stick with him. PEQUOT (3) battled away late when resuming on the Riccarton poly track, finishing sixth. He has a home track advantage here and can figure in the top 3 this time. FLYING DUBAWI (12) is better than his form suggests, and maybe a better track could bring about a form reversal. Include in all multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eight Lucky Prawns each way in an even contest.
