A solid tempo on the cards with Warrior Smile taking charge. Stokes-trained STAY COSMIC (1) impressed at the jumpouts and then was much too good for the Cranbourne Maidens on debut. He draws inside today and will appreciate the longer sprint. Ben Allen stays aboard, and striping fitter, he can take the next step. MEDIEVAL WARRIOR (3) debuts and represents a leading metro yard. He's shown plenty at the jumpouts and Zahra sticks from the latest. Has the inside barrier, and a bold run is on the cards. LET IT BEEL (2) defied the market on debut when placing second behind Scenic Point at Pakenham. Ran a strong relative figure and he's sure to keep improving. WARRIOR SMILE (5) was an easy trial winner before tackling Stakes grade at Moonee Valley on debut, folding up after leading into the lane. Has the winkers on today and draws to advantage. This suits better, and the stable is enjoying a terrific run with its youngsters. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Stay Cosmic.
