SANDOWN-HILLSIDE   19 Jun 2024

GOING: S

Thoroughbred Club of Australia Handicap 1000m

Track: SOFT 6   Clear (Max: 11)   Rail: Out 8m Entire Circuit.

Rumours Abound to take charge ahead of Bold Response at a strong tempo. CHEVAL CHIC (9) ran well first up at Cranbourne and went on with it last start at Geelong on heavy ground, winning well. Put up a solid rating there and with even luck she'll be very hard to hold out again. GEMINGA (10) has won her past two starts in South Australia, proving the first up win at $81 was no fluke. Capable of measuring right up here. GO TO HOLLYWOOD (7) won well first up at Cranbourne and was good again at Sandown Lakeside over this distance last start in a similar race. Won't need to improve much to be winning here. MISS MUCINNI (11) is racing consistently and should be around the mark. NASRAAWY (2) can improve at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cheval Chic on top.
