Narrowly beaten two back at Warracknabeal then boxed on well from midfield for third at this track. Steps up to 1306m here with added fitness and from a good draw can prove hard to beat. GIJIMA GAL (9) ran on for fourth without threatening the winner last start at Swan Hill but has blinkers on here, replacing winkers, so a sharper performance can be expected. Looks one of the the main chances. GOLDEN MIKKI (4) beat Gijma Gal home when finishing second in his only race appearance as favourite at Swan Hill and with race experience he has to be considered among the leading contenders here.
