Keen battle for the lead with Diamo Minoru, Marutoku Laurel and Star Impact in advance of Marron Ice and Ryo Rai Rai. MARRON ICE (1) narrowly missed last time when second last start at Kasamatsu but starting to prove costly. In good form without winning and gets chance. DIAMO MINORU (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish second over 1700m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. RYO RAI RAI (3) missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, finishing fourth. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. MARUTOKU LAUREL (9) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1400m here after a win at Kasamatsu at the previous outing. Should be thereabouts.
