The pace looks very strong with plenty of speed engaged. ZOROASTRO (5) is a talented colt who has been in the money at both appearances. Has not been produced since he was successful over 1800m at Niigata on July 27 as a $1.10 chance. Tougher company here but he is up to the task. ECORO ALBA (6) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 1400m at Niigata 11 weeks ago and has not appeared since. Promising type who can finished powerfully that day. Looms as the main danger. CHUWA CARNEGIE (8) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 1600m at Hanshin four-and-a-half months ago and has not been produced since. Will come on following that run and looks a definite threat. ASK EDINBURGH (3) scored last start at Sapporo to make it two wins on the bounce. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Sure to be thereabouts.
