Taichi Nagamori scored on him last time and retains the mount. Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. KYOSHINTANKAI (6) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1400m at this track. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. CAPTIF (8) finished out of the money when eighth in a 1600m contest at this track four weeks ago. Anticipating a better run this time. COSMO SEAWOLF (3) was well beaten when 11th most recently over 1400m here after finishing third at this track two starts ago. Has the advantage of an ideal gate. Look for an improved run.
