Strong tempo likely with several going forward, headed by Sigmund and Raijimmaru. Hard to split the top pair who look to have it between them. Leaning to PRECIOUS DAY (10) was far too good first up last start when he scored by 10 lengths over 2400m at Nakayama Dirt. Back in trip but is a great chance to get the prize again. CHAMPAGNE POP (16) finished second when resuming two runs back at Chukyo Dirt then progressed nicely last time out to score by 4 lengths as public elect over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt. A genuine threat with Lemaire taking over. RAIJIMMARU (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 10 lengths when fourth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt three-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Capable of a top three finish. RED LIBERTA (7) comes here off a break of four months. Filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 2100m at this track. Worth serious consideration.
