Plenty of pace from the outset with Polixenes and June Comet leading the charge. MERRY SENSE (2) has kept asking the question after striking well here four runs ago back in June. Kept fresh and is drawn well for smart hoop. The one to beat. COPA KATSU (3) has also been kept fresh after after a close defeat here last time. Rates highly and shapes as a genuine contender. MEISHO KOHOKU (6) was well below his best last time but was a dominant on-pace winner here the start prior. Is a four-time winner at this track that can't be easily dismissed. JUNE COMET (9) raced forward from the low draw last start before fading into fifth, after returning with a bang her when resuming.. Among the top chances.
