Expecting a solid tempo set up by Golden Ale crossing from the outside stall. MARIACHI (3) kept coming only to just miss when fresh from a spell last start over 1800m at this track. Will take a lot from that hitout. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. GOLDEN ALE (16) went fast early and went on to score by 7 lengths last time out over 1600m at this track. Has the speed to overcome a wide draw. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. SHOGUN (7) had been racing okay but he was safely held last time out when sixth over 1800m at this track. Deserves another chance. THURSTON TRUST (15) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when seventh over 1600m at this track. Should be in the mix in this suitable race.
