Rouge Blitz has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. JUST MY WAY (1) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when in contention on the corner, finishing a neck from the winner in second at the end of 2000m at Nakayama. Likely improver who is perfectly placed to go one better. MOR NIKE (3) debuted four weeks ago when she finished fourth over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten 2.75 lengths, after giving away a big start. Would prefer over more ground but still looms as a threat to the top pick. NISHINO MARE (10) ran a better race last time at her second career start when second over 1600m at Niigata. Heading the right way and is among the chances. ROUGE BLITZ (4) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fifth at Nakayama over 1600m, beaten 5.5 lengths. Can improve off that performance.
