Namura Muffin, Haru Ichiban and Regal Splendor to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. In a very plain affair LANCE OF KING (14) looks the goods. Has started twice, running on well for a good third on debut then finishing sixth, beaten 6 lengths, last time over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Should camp just off the leaders. Looks to have the edge on these. MEISHO BONTEN (13) debuted four weeks ago when he finished ninth over 1200m at Hanshin, beaten 7 lengths. In the betting that day so should have more to offer. Worth following up. HARU ICHIBAN (10) stepped out on his debut over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt three-and-a-half weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Should be thereabouts against this lot with a similar effort. WIDE KAKUGEN (1) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 1200m at Hanshin. Strips fitter and can play a big role from the inside alley.
