Speed should be right on over the 1200m journey. CHERGUI (1) clearly on top. He's first up here, another former James Cummings horse now with the Hayes yard. His 2yo form leaps off the page here, racing against the likes of Beiwacht and Mcgaw. Comes to a maiden for the first time in his career and should be knocking it off. LUDLUM (5) ran a strong race on debut at Ballarat over 1000m in a fast race, closing off well there. Better for that and will take beating. BEL LUPA (10) has just found one better in two starts to date and should be competitive once more. MR VEGAS (6) unraced 3yo gelding who has trialled eight times.
