MAJESTIC DEEL (5) has been trying to win a race for some time and was a sound fourth when well in the market at Wagga 12 days ago. He is down in weight for this assignment, and if the tempo is true, then he could have the last say. KICKSTART (2) has been close up in all of his 3 starts this season and was doing his best work late when finishing runner-up over 1200m last time out. The extra furlong will suit him, and his first win is not far away. STRATEGIC DEFENSE (8) ran on late as favourite last time out at Wagga, finishing fourth. He drops 3kg and can get the job done. Follow your money. MR MAGNIFICENCE (1) is making his debut from a good draw. He has a bit of breeding about him and is sure to have some admirers. Use the market as the best guide. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Kickstart on an each-way basis.
