The entire field is on debut so expecting the two-year-olds to go keenly. Tricky race to kick off with the first 2YO race of the season. TEXAN DREAM (6) looked good in his only hit out over 400m at Belmont, showing good speed in the process. Chris Parnham sticks from that performance and the inside barrier should see him close to the speed throughout. Can make a winning start to his career. KUTE AS KAN BE (9) was very good in her latest trial where the Blinkers were applied and they remain on for her raceday debut. She's bound to end up in a good spot from the inside barrier and with the aid of the rail, she can make her presence felt. DAWN DANCER (2) got the job done in his latest trial, beating Kute As Can Be over the 400m journey. Little query with his 850m trial two back, but Steve Parnham remains in the saddle and a forward showing is anticipated. TIGERLAND (7) may be one for further down the track, though he's shown enough ability to suggest he can run well here on debut. FIREARM (3) stuck on well in his only trial and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Texan Dream in a tricky event.
