Just a modest pace in store without noted speed runners engaged. SAN JUAN (2) has been close up in both runs in Victoria and has switched barns on a 43-day return. His form is good enough to win this if he's presented on-song. RUN FREDA RUN (5) went well last preparation and missed 1.6L at Emerald first-up. Has the inside gate and more to give. Go close over longer with the extra fitness. SHEEZA FLING (8) is yet to fire this preparation. She raced favourite at Mackay last time but got too far back again. Suited better over the longer sprint and has the blinkers on for the first time. Will carry just 51.5kg with the claim and tipping improvement. GRUMPYWANTSATISSUE (4) resumes and look for him to be hitting the line. SUGGESTED PLAY: San Juan if the betting suggests stable confidence
