Plenty of speed with Khichdi, Sweet Cake and American Matador leading Global Zee and American Eagle. Weak maiden and AMERICAN MATADOR (2) looks the one to beat. Has had a few chances but returned with a solid third this course and distance and will strip fitter for it. Low draw and expected to go close. TIMELINE (9) has been safely held last coupe but in richer maidens and freshened for this. Well placed this line-up and gets chance to improve. KHICHDI (1) resumed from a very long break and was beaten a long way. That was on the all weather but fitter again and back to turf expected to do much better. MAGNUS THE GOOD (6) ran a much better race second-up and heading in the right direction. Yet to hit the frame in six runs but best figures stack right up.
