Verbier can take up the running at an even speed. NINJA DERBY (2) jumped favourite last start in stronger company last time out and was beaten 2.8L in a rather disappointing effort. He's back in grade today though which looks to suit and Avdulla now rides. Maps for a lovely run and he can get back to winning ways. CERVIN (1) stepped up to 1800m and didn't handle the rise in trip, beaten a long way. The form out of that race has been very good though and back to the 1650m today is a big tick. Needs some luck from the draw as he drops back in grade, though his figures suggest he's good enough. VERBIER (10) ed them up here last start and was only caught late in the race, beaten 2L. He can roll forward again from a slightly better gate this time and if he's able to dictate from the front, he'll be hard to run down. TRADITION (7) can build on a couple of solid efforts recently.
