NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:49 WORK AMONGST THE RACEDAY ACTION - PERTH RACING RECRUITING NOW MAIDEN 1200m
Without a recognised leader a modest gallop is on the cards. ROGER (8) looks to have found the perfect race for his debut. Has had two trial wins this time in, is drawn to get an economical run and has the services of Willie Pike. CALL ME INVINCIBLE (1) looks the pick of the raced brigade. Is on a quick turnaround after a solid second over 1200m at this track seven days ago. Drawn to enjoy a good run and shapes as a major threat. WIN FOR BUSTER (2) is a nine-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth after being in the firing line on the bend at his latest appearance over 1400m at Bunbury. Not a heap of depth here, so can run an improved race. WILUNA LASS (4) is back at the races for the first time since April 26. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1000m at this track. Comes here with definite claims. DEVIL DOWN (7) didn't set the world on fire at the trials in preparation for the debut but strikes the right race to make an early impact.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Roger to win.
2 02:24 MORLEY GROWERS MARKET MAIDEN 1200m
Expecting a solid pace with Vaulting Spirit, Cachaca and Unimando leading the charge. TREASURED LEGACY (10) is a maiden galloper resuming from a spell but started odds-on on debut in a much tougher race than this when she got it all wrong. Has trialled well since, draws the pole and gains Pike. VAULTING SPIRIT (9) will find this a little easier than her third on debut two weeks ago, beaten just over a length over 1200m here. Has a low draw so she should be in the finish again. ROCKING IN VEGAS (1) is a genuine type with five minor placings from seven starts this time in work. Continued the trend last start when third over 1200m at Pinjarra after he was always up in the leading division. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CACHACA (3) stepped out for his debut over 1000m at Ascot back on March 11 and finished fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Top-three chance with that run under his belt. UNIMANDO (2) improved with each run in the debut campaign and has a terrible gate here but looked good when third in a recent trial.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Treasured Legacy to win.
3 02:59 DRUMMOND GOLF HANDICAP 1000m
Expecting a strong gallop with Star Martini and Wiluna Lass taking up the running over Dip It In A Dream. WILUNA LASS (4) is back at the races for the first time since April 26. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1000m at this track. Contested tougher races than this last prep and draws to advantage. JOYOH (3) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1000m at this track, finishing second and beaten a nose. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. STAR MARTINI (7) saluted at Northam two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when in the firing line on the turn before finishing second over 1000m at this track, beaten 3/4 of a length. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. DIP IT IN A DREAM (5) got his career off to the perfect start, which he'll only be better for, so don't discount. ESPINHO (2) last appeared on April 22 when a good sixth over 1000m at Ascot, beaten 2.5 lengths, and he has won fresh in the past.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Wiluna Lass to win.
4 03:35 SHARE BETS WITH TABTOUCH BET LOOP HANDICAP 1650m
Expecting plenty of speed from Polyvanova, Granite Rock and Capable Angel from Grandad's Adiction. CHEETO (5) continued the good recent form when he finished second, beaten less than a length, last time out over 1650m at this track. Going well without winning but looks suited in this contest and gains the services of Willie Pike. JAVELIN STRIKE (4) produced a solid effort last time when fourth over 1400m at this track. Won't be bothered by this longer journey and is nearing peak fitness now third-up. POLYVANOVA (1) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just three times from 30 starts, but did a good job last start to finish second over 1300m at this track, beaten 1.2 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. GRANDAD'S ADICTION (6) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when fourth over 1700m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Ultra consistent, so must be respected and draws well. CAPABLE ANGEL (7) is another who doesn't have the best strike rate but wasn't far off them last start.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Cheeto to win.
5 04:15 LIQUOR BARONS HANDICAP 1650m
King Of The Town and About Turn possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. KING OF THE TOWN (1) resumes here and is yet to place in two previous fresh runs but has never run first-up over this trip. Got to Listed grade last time in and can show up here. GIBRALTAR (2) was in the firing line on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1700m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. POINT GOLD BEAU (4) made progress last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1700m at this track. Finds a nice race and can build on that solid recent effort. JESA LUPA (5) did little the first three runs back but was an improved effort last time and might be ready to go on with it.  SUGGESTED PLAY: King Of The Town to win.
6 04:45 LAWN PRIDE AUSTRALIA HANDICAP 1400m
Acta Non Verba and Cosmic Gem possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. COSMIC GEM (2) turned in a modest performance when ninth last time out over 1600m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Beautifully placed and is sure to bounce back to form. MUST BE NICE (5) was prominent at the turn but turned in a mediocre run last time out over 2100m at this track after a nice win the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. STREAMLINED (7) closed last prep six months ago when he finished eighth over 1500m at Ascot. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Nicely placed and expected to go well. ACTA NON VERBA (4) brought some handy form over from Victoria and while he hasn't shown it in two runs in WA, he might be ready for a peak performance third-up. CLASSIC RULER (9) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish eighth over 1400m. Draws the pole here and gets in well after the 3kg claim, so can improve.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Cosmic Gem to win.
7 05:17 AFGRI EQUIPMENT HANDICAP 1400m
Genuine tempo with Azabelle and Cosmic Treat up front. OCEAN GODDESS (1) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 1.75 lengths over 1300m at Northam. Fitter for that last hitout and draws to continue the good form. RIGHT TO SILENCE (8) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when 10th and beaten 8 lengths over 1300m at this track. Austin Galati gets the best out of this six-year-old mare and he goes back aboard, so worth another chance. AMARLIE MISS (10) didn't do a lot in a recent trial, but that was only over 950m. Got out to 1675m last prep, is a first-up winner and draws well, but perhaps the best push is Pike hopping back aboard. VAMPI QUEEN (5) scored her maiden win here last time out over today's trip, getting the decision by a long neck. That followed a good fresh run, so while this is a step up, we don't know her ceiling yet. CHOUX SHOE (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Ocean Goddess to win.
