SHIVERMEPINK (2) has been on point in two recent trials and showed enough potential last campaign to take seriously in an ideal race first up. Strong on-pace showing expected. MISS JUDAS (1) has frustrated followers for a long time but the drop back in trip and class should prove crucial. Big threat with the blinkers going on. SNEAKY CHOICE (4) finds the ideal draw on debut and has shown enough at the trials to keep safe with any ounce of market support. WHIL TO WIN (7) has been quiet at the trials but this suits on debut. Solid tempo with Nickers Boy leading from Cool Space and Viaconi. VIACONI (6) won’t get a better look at winning than this. Has been soft in betting in all three runs this time in but capable of much better than latest offering. Shades go on now and worth another look. COOL SPACE (3) has been thereabouts in all four runs to date and arrives here rock hard fit. With a well-used claim can feature. HIDDEN MOGUL (8) finds easier than most recent contest and this trip suits. In a small field is not out of it. DON’T TELL JACK (4) resumes off a short spell after mixed results last campaign. Should sprint well fresh in a limited line-up. NICKERS BOY (5) strips fitter second up and best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Viaconi win. |

War Ribbon is likely to take charge and set a decent tempo. WAR RIBBON (3) was solid first up at Wyong over a similar trip in higher grade and strips fitter with the perfect draw. Upside stayer with a kilo less. Hard to go past. TAJAWAL (2) will benefit from the first up run and raced in stronger company last campaign. Gets in at a weight he’s rarely carried. All set for sharp improvement. BALMIERRO (1) fits into the down in grade up in weight category at a trip that suits. Failed as favourite last start but previous efforts were sound enough. Can bounce back. DESERT BLOOM (7) put in a stouter effort second up and is bred to improve as she stretches out in trip. Gives away experience to all of these but must keep safe with blinkers going on. ANULFA (4) looks to be suited at a staying trip from here on. SUGGESTED PLAY: War Ribbon straight out. Not expecting much speed here in a race devoid of on-pacers. HAPPY BELLIE (5) showed immediate talent in two runs last campaign and has been runner-up in both recent trials. Stable banking money for fun of late and this suits first up. BASTET (2) has been competitive in two trials to date and draws ideally on debut. Finds the right jump off race to play a major role. TASSAAL (6) has displayed plenty of ability at the trials and has been well supported in early betting. Big threat. THE NETBALL QUEEN (7) the best of the rest in the small field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Happy Bellie win. |

Cha Cha Cha to take charge ahead of Another Road at a good tempo. SOLAR ENERGY (3) is stoutly bred and should find natural improvement off her first up run over a shorter trip. DE LOUVIERE (2) battled on well first up at a similar trip. Doesn’t have a lot of gears but with added fitness will be hitting the line this time. LUNA CRUISER (10) is in career best form over similar trips at her past two starts. With a fly weight can produce again at odds. FIRE ISLAND (7) is mixing form but looks suited at this trip. Pace strong with Golden Pierro and Gardenzio leading with Scoundrel nearby. GARDENZIO (1) finds a big weight third up but has an impressive record at this trip. Expected to race handy despite a wide draw and can produce a stronger result. CANNY QUEEN (5) finds five kilos less after the claim and comes via two genuine runs over seven furlongs. Progressive filly that’s hard to ignore. BUBA (9) can’t catch a quiet draw this time in but keeps running handy races in similar company. Edging towards another win and any give in the track will help. GOLDEN PIERRO (2) could easily run a cheeky race fresh over a mile. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Gardenzio. |

They look to roll along early with Exceed The Sky and Formal leading the charge. PUTT FOR DOUGH (1) must go in finding a lower grade of race and being a previous winner at this venue. Should fight this out. BEND THE KNEE (3) got home hard first up over a shorter trip and is always thereabouts. Yet to win second up but finds right race to go close. CES SOIREES LA (5) was never in the race at Canterbury last start but gets a nice drop back in grade and is expected to show good improvement. FORMAL (6) was only narrowly edged out last start at Newcastle and a repeat has him right in the finish again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Putt For Dough each-way. |

Strong tempo assured with Dreams Of Thunder, Hydrometer and Stratafy rolling to the front. HYDROMETER (1) is a proven weight carrier with a sharp overall record. Cruised home to win a recent trial and proven fresh. Hard to beat. TIME BANDIT (2) has a healthy strike rate from ten starts and flies fresh. Two recent trials have been solid and wide draw the only knock. ORYX (4) has a strong first up record and was close up in a fast run trial recently. Poorly drawn but has top three claims. OCEAN JOY (8) finds nice weight relief for the step up in grade but did get all the favours last start. Each-way hope in harder. STRATAFY (9) deserves another chance after a tougher assignment last start. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hydrometer win. |
