MIDWAY HANDICAP 1500m
Just a moderate tempo given the absence of pacy gallopers. MOGWAI (2) progressive gelding who comes back a grade after having genuine excuses from the wide draw when sixth to Bunker Hut over 1350m here at latest. Maps to win and carries the big weights well. MISSILE SEEKER (11) dominant victory at Kembla two-back, before getting out of his ground again from the low draw and never getting a clear crack at them when fourth over 1550m at Canterbury. Down sharply in weight and look for him producing late. Each-way. IT'S A WONDER (8) frustrating mare who gets back in her races and needs everything to go right. Should get the right tempo and McEvoy sticks with the blinkers going on. RUSH ATTACK (10) building a tidy win record and strips fitter after holding on well for a narrow second over 1400m at Newcastle. Back in good order and deserves his chance here. PROMITTO (1) tough gelding who gets good weight relief with the claim in this easier contest. Proven in this grade and goes into the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mogwai to go close. |

TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP 1300m
Strong tempo with Bide Your Time, Spirits Burn Deep and Kayz Time leading the way. EXIT FEE (11) promising gelding who loomed strongly from the wide draw before being nailed late in this grade over 1200m at Randwick. At his top now and this looks an easier assignment. WAL'S ANGELS (6) improving gelding with his hoof on the till fourth-up. Tried hard with the 60.5kg when a narrow fifth over 1400m at the Sapphire Coast. Recent efforts in town were solid and has genuine top-three prospects. KREON (2) three runs back have been okay and racing like the extra trip will suit. Held up in the straight with the 59kg and should have finished closer when seventh in this class at Randwick over 1200m. Collett sticks and look for him late. WITHSTAND (14) starting to hit his straps on the country and provincial circuits. Drops 4kg on the limit weight and not without each way claims in this stronger contest. BIDE YOUR TIME (7) returns from a let-up and undefeated in two runs. Both his Wagga wins have rated well and since kept up to the mark with an 800m trial at Goulburn. Respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Exit Fee finds his race. |

ROSEHILL BOWLING CLUB HANDICAP 1300m
Plenty of pace evident with Salisano and Lady Boss leading the way from Baroque Road and Winston Hills. LADY BOSS (10) fitter now and finds her race today. Much better effort when coming out of the pack late for a tough second over 1350m here. Can slide across from the draw and take catching. WINSTON HILLS (7) poorly drawn again after powering late from well back when an unlucky second over 1200m at Randwick. Looking for this trip now and has the figures to take this out. STEP ASIDE (5) failed to go with them early and picked up strongly in the straight when an improved third over 1350m here. Can race a little closer from the low draw and figure prominently. CADETSHIP (1) at his top for this with Osmond's 3kg claim and expecting a better effort after chipping away late when seventh over 1350m here. Will need everything to go right. SALISANO (4) yet to tick the 1350m box and gets her chance here form the low draw. Value player. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lady Boss and Winston Hills to fight it out. |

RANVET HANDICAP 1100m
Expecting Bonita Queen to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. THEBLADE (12) lightly raced colt resuming. Created a big impression when smashing his rivals by a big space on debut last August. Sat off the speed on resumption when a disappointing fourth to the smart Private Harry over 1200m here last December. Fitted with a slick 1050m trial win and gets his chance on the limit. ENRICHED (5) classy colt resuming. Raced without luck in Group company last prep and returns with two trials under his belt. Produces fresh and maps well. WALLENDA (6) total forgive from the outside gate first-up when coming from near last on the turn for a solid sixth over the unsuitable 1000m at Warwick Farm. Since fitted with a recent 800m trial placing. Gets his chance with Jason Collett aboard. Respect. BONITA QUEEN (1) tough mare back to her pet trip on the quick back-up. Will hold a forward position and try and grip on late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Theblade to win. |

BISLEY WORKWEAR MILLIE FOX STAKES 1300m
Strong tempo assured with Makarena and Watch My Girl leading the way over Scarlet Oak. MAKARENA (1) proven Group winning mare with excellent stats over this track and trip. Looked to have plenty in the tank when a soft 1050m trial winner here on February 13. Comes to hand quickly and should prove too sharp for these. FIRESTORM (4) excellent first-up mare undefeated at this track. Has looked strong through the line in both trials and can finish over the top of these if they over do it up front. SCARLET OAK (3) failed to come up last prep when a poor last in the G3 Bill Ritchie over 1400m at Randwick last September 21. Two trials have been okay and look for her late. HINGED (2) durable mare resuming after scoring a well deserved win in the G2 Matriarch over 2000m at Flemington last November. Not asked to do much in two trials and stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Makarena to win. |

TAB SILVER SLIPPER STAKES 1100m
Bel Merci has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. BEL MERCI (10) ready-made 2yo who beat O' Ole and Memo in good style as fav on debut over 1000m in the G3 Gimcrack Stakes at Randwick last October. Fitted with three solid trials since and can win again from the draw. WEST OF SWINDON (2) away slowly on debut and returned excellent figures late when a narrow second to North England over 1100m in the G3 Golden Gift here last November. Developed further over the break and hit the line with plenty of intent when second in a 1050m trial. Tempo suits and just needs to jump cleanly from the inside gate. WODETON (3) lived up to the hype although he didn't beat much when a commanding winner over this track and trip on January 18. Given the one soft 900m tick over trial at Warwick Farm since. Will need everything to go right from the outside gate. GAMBLER (8) and BEIWACHT (4) are both capable types who can take a hand in the finish at the good each way odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bel Merci to go close. |

PARRAMATTA CUP 1900m
Strong early tempo with Our Anchorage and Don Diego De Vega leading the way. OUR ANCHORAGE (11) tough gelding who made it three straight when crushing his rivals with the 59.5kg over the 2000m here at latest. Ready to tackle this class on the limit and his fitness will see him hard to get past. DON DIEGO DE VEGA (13) disappointed as fav when resuming with a plugging seventh over 1600m at Randwick in a muddling run contest. Can stalk the good tempo and improve sharply as he gets out in trip. ASTERIX (3) returned from a lengthy spell for the Waller yard when catching the eye late with the 58kg to run seventh over 1600m at Randwick. Will keep improving as he gets out in trip and look for him charging late. KINESIOLOGY (10) another Waller runner who resumed with a fast finishing sixth over 1600m at Randwick. Proven at this level and expect to see him take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Our Anchorage to win. |

KIA ORA HOBARTVILLE STAKES 1400m
Moderate pace from Mayfair taking it up with Public Attention and Linebacker on his back. BROADSIDING (1) classy colt resuming who beat some of these first-up in the G1 Golden Rose over this track and trip last September. Failed to go on with it after that when racing in elite company. Returns with two good trials and capable of getting over the top of these. LINEBACKER (3) gelded over the break and gave weight to his rivals when coming out fast for a gritty second over 1200m in the G3 Eskimo Prince Stakes at Randwick. Stalks the speed and goes close with further improvement. MAYFAIR (2) shifted out on jumping and forced to travel wide when resuming with a fading seventh over 1200m in the G3 Eskimo Prince Stakes at Randwick. Much better than that and capable of bouncing back with the tongue tie on. PUBLIC ATTENTION (4) slick return when stalked the speed and cleared out for a sharp win over 1200m in the G3 Eskimo Prince Stakes. Poor map today and will need a gun ride from the draw. AELIANA (11) went quickly through her grades last prep and capable of sprinting well fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Broadsiding to bounce back. |

ASAHI SUPER DRY HANDICAP 1400m
A solid tempo on the cards with Sibaaq heading them off. HEADLEY GRANGE (11) progressive gelding who comes here hard fit and gets the blinkers added for the first time. Kept coming when up to the mile for a narrow second over 1600m at Randwick on February 8. Back in trip with the good tempo and will prove hard to hold out. WATEGOS (6) has a smart second-up record and back in grade after failing to sprint with them when a poor seventh over 1200m in the G3 Southern Cross Stakes here. Anywhere near his best can win this. BEL AIR (9) further improved now third-up and won't know himself with the 53.5kg. Carried the 60kg when a game sixth to Yorkshire over 1500m at this track. Maps well and looks over the odds. WEST OF AFRICA (3) just over a month between runs when scoring a tenacious victory after coming from near last on the turn when taking out the LR Magic Millions Cup over at 1400m at the Gold Coast. Schiller sticks and not asked to do much in a recent trial. Each way. BUILLT (12) is worth another chance back to the 1400m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 11,6,9,3. |

CHANDON HANDICAP 1100m
Genuine tempo with The Black Cloud leading the way. SHEZANALISTER (5) well supported on resumption and duly saluted when a fast finishing winner over 1000m at Randwick. Goes equally as well second-up and looks to get the right set-up again. Hard to hold out. AUSTMARR (9) strong through the line when an encouraging first-up fourth to Shezanalister. Extra trip in her favour and can turn the tables at the weights. THE BLACK CLOUD (10) sat on the hot tempo when nailed late by Shezanalister on resumption to finish second at Randwick. Will come out positive again and take catching. TIME TO BOOGIE (7) has frustrated this time in and the blinkers go on from a better gate. Gets map favours and the drop in weight will help his cause. COSMONOVA (11) freshened up and back in trip after putting away a handy field at Randwick over 1200m on January 25. Capable of testing these. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shezanalister and Austmarr to fight it out. |
