NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:27 Sportsbet Adelaide Cup Day March 10 Handicap 1050m
Plenty of first starters engaged which muddies the map a little. It is fair to assume a keen tempo. XTREME (5) is a son of Exceedance on debut for Tony & Calvin McEvoy. Has worked well in readiness, finding the line nicely under a hold in most recent jump-out. Familiar with blinkers and is drawn to get the gun run. Bright start anticipated. DAMPEN (2) has gone better than the beaten margins suggest, subsequent of running into some handy ones. Carries a fitness edge and gets a key change in Nunes taking over. Gets his chance. GAZZ (3) is a Sandbar gelding on debut for Dylan Caboche. Hasn't been sighted at public work but any market support should be respected. SAFE BET (4) next.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Xtreme gets the nod.
2 01:02 Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap 1600m
Only a small field with Divine Fire likely to find a comfortable lead. TYPHOON HARMONY (1) impressed fresh when a barnstorming winner over 1200m at Pakenham. Got a long way back again last start and made good inroads despite finishing ninth. Hitting his straps now and will appreciate stepping out to the mile where he's already a track and trip winner. There's a straight line to draw through WATADEEL (2) who finished alongside Typhoon Harmony last start when second-up. Carries more weight but loves this trip and should be nearing a peak. TIPSY VIXEN (5) is best placed for the hometown defence. Has been threatening throughout this campaign, putting the writing on the wall last start when beaten a lip. Can give this a big shake. DIVINE FIRE (3) has a stack of early speed and strips rock-hard fit. Will be in this for a long way. GAWNSKI (6) hit the line nicely over this trip at Pakenham. Has more to offer third-up and is worth keeping safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Typhoon Harmony to win.
3 01:37 Ponting Wines Handicap 1800m
Moderate tempo headed by Itsukushima. STARDEALT (7) progressed nicely second-up at Pakenham when closing off strongly to miss by a head at long odds. Hitting his straps now and will relish the extra 200m. Gets his chance to break a long run of outs. HOLMES (2) rarely runs a bad race but just lacks a killer instinct, finishing second on nine occasions. Strips fitter third-up and reunites with Pannell who has never missed the frame from eight rides, including both of his wins. Sure to be competitive. ITSUKUSHIMA (3) strikes a more suitable assignment and gets in well at the weights with 2kg claimer Jaylah Kennedy reuniting. Don't overlook. HARD PRINCE (5) missed narrowly here last start on the quick back-up. Gets a nice pull at the weights and is among the chances. Last start winner FOX GEM (1) also deserves respect.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Stardealt.
4 02:12 Sportsbet Cinderella Stakes 1050m
La Roux will stride forward but there are few first starters who can keep her busy. GIN SPIRIT (4) was a stylish winner here on debut last month over this trip. Was thrown in the deep end last start in the G2 Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) where she never gave in and chased gamely into a midfield finish. Peaking now and reunites with winning hoop in Holder. Bold showing anticipated. STEEL TRAP (3) returned with a bang here two weeks ago when putting over 3L to La Roux. Concedes weight to her now but has plenty of upside. Can repeat the dose. LA ROUX (1) had her bubble burst last week when shooting for the hat-trick. Was below her best but can be forgiven. ARTISTIC ANGEL (5) is a Flying Artie filly on debut for the sharp juvenile stable of R & C Jolly. Impressed in lead-up work and has Toeroek sticking. Will pay to see what the market does with her. TIZ WORTHY (2) returns and looks best of the rest.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Gin Spirit to win.
5 02:47 Quayclean Handicap 1525m
Just a moderate pace anticipated. SABAJ (4) arrived just in time fresh to make it 2/2. Clearly has her share of ability and will appreciate the rise in trip. Expect class to shine through and for him to be too strong for them late. THE GOLDEN FIST (6) made a stack of ground in the lane to score with a bit up his sleeve last start at Murray Bridge. Tougher this time but has more to offer. RIGHT OF VETO (12) made a mess of his rivals when shedding his maiden tag at Oakbank. Is drawn to take closer order this time and is down in the weights. Right in this. STRATUM PRIDE (8) hasn't tasted success for quite some time but has figures that stack right up. Not suited by a lack of speed on the quick back-up but is one to keep in mind.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sabaj the one to beat.
6 03:22 Happy 40th Birthday Chris Bieg Handicap 1200m
Expecting a solid pace with Dancing Storm, Cork Harbour and Declared leading the charge. DECLARED (5) is yet to strike through this prep but put the writing on the wall here last start when claimed late. Has the ratings and should be hitting his straps. Great chance to break a long run of outs. BAKEEL (1) is an interesting runner. Is a Singapore import having his first start for the Bain & Taylor partnership. Reunites with Nunes who has a strong aboard and is 2x G2 placed. DANCING STORM (4) returns and is a noted fresh performer, narrowly missing here fresh last campaign when leading them up. Takes benefit from a soft trial here in readiness and is expected to feature. NOUVEAU (8) rattled home to get the verdict last start at Wangaratta. Tougher this time but gets in well at the weights and is in form. Has to be included. Scored in most recent trial and holds plenty of intrigue. SHISUTA BO (6) is as consistent as they come and has to be included in exotics.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Declared gets the nod.
7 03:57 Sportsbet City of Marion Stakes (Leg 3 Summer Sprint Series) 1200m
Expecting a solid pace with Taunting, The Great Baby and Klabel leading the charge. EXTREMELY LUCKY (1) has hit the line nicely in his two runs back against similar opposition and should be ready to fire third-up out to 1200m. Has plenty of class and reunites with Pannell who gets the best out of him. Ready. KLABEL (4) is as consistent as they come. Missed by a lip here last start and now gets a good pull at the weights over some of his main rivals. Obvious threat. TAUNTING (2) was no match for the in-form Prairie Flower last start in the Durbridge Stakes. Has been freshened for his third-up assignment and can fight out the finish if he brings his A-game. MY KHALIFA (3) shocked punters first-up when sprinting hard to arrive just in time here two weeks ago. Concedes weight to a couple but has upside and deserves more respect this time.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Extremely Lucky is ready to win.
8 04:37 Sportsbet Lord Reims Stakes 2600m
Silent Surrente, Sentimental Flame and Beltoro to roll forward and set up a solid tempo. We are treated to a cracking edition of the Listed Lord Reims Stakes. Reigning Andrew Ramsden Stakes winner THE MAP (4) leads SA's staying ranks and was warming nicely late to her task when resuming in the LR Premier's Plate here two weeks ago. Will relish the rise in trip and has the runs on the board. TARAMANSOUR (5) has progressed nicely in his last two preps, establishing himself as a handy staying type. Ran a career peak last start when narrowly beaten in the LR Australia Day Cup at Warwick Farm. Hard to beat if he holds form. GRAND PIERRO (2) rarely turns in a poor one. Was a determine winner two back in the LR Bagot Handicap at Flemington and is another that will be in the finish if can bring that form. GOTTA GO GURU (13) is a progressive stayer from the Gluyas camp. Toughest assignment to date. Testing material. GOLDENSTATEWARRIOR (6) and SILENT SURRENTE (12) haven't done much wrong and are busting to win but may need something easier.  SUGGESTED PLAY: The Map to win.
9 05:18 Canadian Club Handicap 1050m
Expecting Immortal Bliss to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. IMMORTAL BLISS (14) is a promising three-year-old set to return for the sharp Peter Hardacre camp. Impressed in her debut prep and strips fitter for a nice Morphettvile trial. Has enough pace to offset the wide alley and looks the one to beat. THE JOURNO (5) was a barnstorming winner here fresh last campaign and then couldn't quite go on with it and was forever running on. Lacks tactical speed but will prove tough to stop if the haps appear. ROCKSTAR MEGGSY (3) shoulders best figures that measure up but has been lacking consistency. Steps back in trip of 56-day freshen and is worth keeping safe. BLANC VISAGE (11) has been much better in her last two and is in the mix with Holder piloting.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Immortal Bliss to win. Each-way saver Rockstar Meggsy.
