SplashOut CAPE OF GOOD HOPE NURSERY 1200m
IRELAND FOREVER (6) was an impressive winner on debut over 1000m on this course last start when well supported. He showed a good turn of foot and drew clear in the closing stages. It is encouraging that Grant van Niekerk is booked to ride and he can remain unbeaten. WINTER SNAP (1) won a good race on debut over 1000m on this course last start as the odds-on favourite. He would have come on from the run and should enjoy the rise to 1200m. Rates well as one of the leading contenders. WILD WILD GREEN (3) followed up her debut victory with a good win last time over 1100m at this track. She will love the extra 100m on offer and should give the males a run for their money. DIRECT HIT (2) won as the hot favourite on debut over 1000m at Fairviewl last start. She jumps from an inside draw and looks well placed to go back-to-back. |

RACECAPE POWERED BY Hollywoodbets CLASS 4 1400m
REGULATION (7) should have finished closer to the winner last time out. He was an impressive winner in his penultimate effort over 1600m on this course. He is the class horse in this contest and with luck in the running, should find himself in the winner's enclosure. MASTEROFTHEDESERT (3) raced from a handy position over this course and distance last time, before getting outrun late. Finds the right field here to go one better. PARATROOPER (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start to finish third of 13 over 1400m at this track. Now that he has returned to form is well worth an each-way ticket. HONOR OF KINGS (1) was an easy winner when winning his maiden race over 1200m last start. He returns from a spell during which time he was gelded. He jumps from pole position and if not in need of the run should be fighting out the finish. |

SABC CLASS 3 1400m
GALLIC DREAM (6) stayed on well when third of 13 over this course and distance last time. He takes a big drop back in class and with Gavin Lerena in the saddle should prove hard to beat. ROSH KEDESH (3) was running on well when second over 1200m last time. He jumps from a good draw of three and if not too far out of his ground turning for home should be finishing in the money. TALK TO THE MASTER (1) was fresh-up from a spell last start and finished third of 10 over 1200m at this track. Racing over a longer trip has each-way claims. POWERANDTHEGLORY (10) resumes from a spell and fresh-up with Richard Fourie in the saddle should go a bold race fresh-up. Well worth considering and is a must include in exotic bets. |

SCHWEPPES CAPE FILLIES CLASSIC 1800m
KINDA WONDERFUL (5) was not disgraced when fourth in the Grade 1 Maine Chance Farms Majorca Stakes last time. She is a filly with class who should have no issues with the rise to 1800m. If putting her best foot forward, she may be the one to beat. SCARLET MACAW (6) finished not far behind the top selection last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish. GOODNESSGRACIOUSME (3) was caught late when second in the Clapham Stakes last time. If she sees out the extra 200m on offer, she should be involved at the finish. GIVE ME EVERYTHING (1) followed up her maiden win with an impressive victory over 1600m on this course. She takes another rise in class, but has plenty of ability and can bring up the hat-trick. |

CITY OF CAPE TOWN JET MASTER STAKES 1600m
SEE IT AGAIN (10) was doing his best work late when fourth in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Town Met last time. He has won four times, finished second twice, and third once from nine starts over this distance. He is the class horse in this contest and can return to winning ways. ZAPATILLAS (1) is better than his last start in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Town Met as he raced wide around the turn. He jumps from the pole position and on the best form shown, he should pose a threat. MEU CAPITANO (9) was an easy winner of his last start over 1400m on this course. The manner in which he won that race suggests that he should not have any issues with the rise to 1600m. With a bit of luck from barrier nine, he should be right there at the finish. THE REAL PRINCE (5) finished sixth in the same race behind the third selection last time. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish |

SplashOut PRIX DU CAP 1400m
ROCCAPINA (6) is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She ran a cracker when third in the Grade 1 Maine Chance Farms Majorca Stakes last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was eye-catching. She will be ideally suited to this distance and should be the one to beat. GIMMIE'S COUNTESS (10) finished third behind the top selection last time. She is 1kg worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result. She is likely to be settled at the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners. MON PETIT CHERIE (1) is better than her last start in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Fillies Guineas. She won the Grade 2 Western Cape Fillies Championship in her penultimate run over this distance. If not in need of this outing, she should run into the placings. MIA MOO (8) finished fourth last time out and can figure in the top 3 this time. |

SplashOut CAPE DERBY 2000m
EIGHT ON EIGHTEEN (2) was given a peach of a ride when winning the Grade 1 WSB Cape Town Met last time. He ran on well that day and snuck up the inside running rail. He is the class horse in this contest and he should be the one to beat. GARRIX (1) has been beaten by a bad draw in his last two starts. He Starts from the pole position and may be the one to fill the exacta spot. ZEITZ (6) won the Grade 3 City Of Cape Town Politician Stakes easier than the official margin suggests. He should have no issues with the extra 200m on offer and merits healthy respect. SAIL THE SEAS (4) finished fifth in the same race as the third selection in the race referred to above. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. |

KHAYA STABLES DIADEM STAKES 1200m
GIMME A PRINCE (6) was super-impressive when winning the Grade 1 HKJC World Pool Cape Flying Championship last time. He has won three times over this distance. He is the class horse in this race and should take a power of beating. SURJAY (4) finished runner-up behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may battle to turn the form around. ROYAL AUSSIE (2) may not have seen out 2000m in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Town Met last time. He has finished second three times from as many starts here over this trip. He gets the blinkers fitted which should sharpen him up. QUESTIONING (1) finished fifth behind the top choice last time. He has won once, finished second twice, and third once from as many starts over this C&D. He will be finishing strongly and he can figure in the finish again. |

HEINEKEN CLASS 4 1400m
ONI SAN (7) fought on when fifth in The Clapham Stakes last time. She should be ideally suited to this distance. She takes a drop in class and the booking of Grant van Niekerk is a big plus. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw, she can return to winning ways. ALLTHEBOYSIVELOVED (6) won her last start easier than the official margin suggests. She is likely to race on the speed and merits healthy respect. MY ONLY WEAKNESS (5) has consistent form lines to her credit. She gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand. If keeping on a straight line, she should fight out the finish. AMONG THE CLOUDS (4) did not settle in the Lady's Bracelet at Fairview last time. Her form prior to that outing was consistent. Corne Orffer is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most |
