REMEMBER APRIL 6TH TABTOUCH GERALDTON CUP MAIDEN 1200m
Solid tempo anticipated with Dixie Princess and Vermillion Gem pressing forward with Summer Mood not far away. GLOBAL TRIP (2) never really got into the race first-up at Bunbury when beaten 5.4L, but this will be a much easier race for him. ZJP jumps from a better draw this time and the form out of his last start has stacked up well. Can improve on the fresh run and land the knockout blow. SUMMER MOOD (5) disappointed when back in trip last start, jumping favourite but finishing 3.3L off the winner. Out to 1200m is a big tick today and the wide draw doesn't hurt. Should be flying late and can get the job done. DIXIE PRINCESS (4) has had a few goes now but she appears to be knocking on the door. She just missed last start when 0.4L off the winner after sitting on the pace throughout. Needs some luck from out wide, but can be in the finish if things go her way. VERMILLION GEM (8) was fair here on debut and can improve out in distance. CINNAMON TWIST (7) resumes after a long layoff but did trial well coming in. Can feature from a nice gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Global Trip gets the nod in the opener. |

RED DUST HOLDINGS MAIDEN 1400m
Genuine tempo with Czech leading the way. BLACK SANDS (1) has been knocking on the door for a while now, closing off well last start to just miss by 1.3L. Drawn nicely again back in trip, where he has placed 2/3 previously. Right on the cusp of his maiden win and looks set to get the job done this time. LENDANEAR (3) closed off well here two back before a 4.9L defeat at Ascot most recently. Now on the quick turnaround, he drops back to 1400m and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Faithfull hops in the saddle and he can put his best foot forward in an easier race. TARENTELIA (8) sat on the speed over this course and distance last start and almost got the job done, beaten 0..2L. He draws better this time and he maps for a similar run. Can go one better without surprising. NEW ATTRACTION (7) resumes with the blinkers on today and should be in the finish if she can pick up where she left off. CZECH (10) may appreciate the drop in trip and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Black Sands can capitalise on his good run of form. |

GOOD LUCK TO WA BREEDERS AT 2025 MAGIC MILLIONS YEARLING SALES HANDICAP 1100m
Moderate pace from Sauvegarde taking it up with Safe Hustle and Arnie's Boy on her back. BONNIE LAD (2) disappointed at Pinjarra last start when back in trip, but he just missed here the start prior. On the quick turnaround, but draws well and will appreciate the rise in distance. Can bounce back to winning ways today. SAUVEGARDE (3) is hard to knock on recent form, finishing just 0.5L off the winner here most recently. Austin Galati replaces the apprentice hoop and he should be prominent in the run. Can go one better without surprising. JUSTHANDY (6) bounced back to form last campaign and draws much better today. Carries no weight and has claims. ARNIE'S BOY (5) can run a strong race first-up and back in grade. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bonnie Lad can get the job done. |

COURTNEY KEEFFE - ELDERS REAL ESTATE HANDICAP 1900m
A solid tempo is anticipated with Miff Muffered Moof and Butterflyrock kicking up to hold out the next wave. KNOCKONEBACK (6) has been getting a long way back in his races at Ascot, though he was a winner three back at Pinjarra. His ratings stack up highly for this and he may be able to take closer order from a good draw today. He brings in a different form line and that makes plenty of appeal. BUTTERFLYROCK (1) got back to winning ways 24 days ago with a 0.6L victory over this course and distance. She can sit handy from a nice barrier today and two winners have come out from behind him. Can win again. MIFF MUFFERED MOOF (7) steps out in trip for the second time today and has pushed Butterflyrock in recent times at this track and trip. Can roll forward from the barrier and will take catching. TRADED CROWN (5) was beaten 1.9L by Butterflyrock last start when favourite and gets a chance to turn the tables today. Better placed at the weights and he should be going close. BAYHARA (2) can build on a good win last start. SUGGESTED PLAY: Knockoneback makes plenty of appeal. |

GERALDTON CUP MARQUEE TICKETS NOW ON SALE HANDICAP 1600m
Expecting Maximum Impact to bounce to the front and lead from the low draw. NOBILDONNA (7) sat midfield over 1487m here last start and was too good, getting over the top to win by 0.2L. She draws better today and the rise in trip looks ideal. Can put herself in a good position with Staples sticking and bring up back-to-back wins. MAXIMUM IMPACT (6) disappointed last start at Pinjarra after being in good order prior to that. He's been freshened and steps out to the mile today with Catarino claims 2kg. Should find the front and if he's able to dictate, he'll be hard to run down. I'M ON (3) was only 2.4L off the winner here last start and looks ready for the rise to the mile now. She's likely to get back from the wide alley, but her best figures stack up and if the pace is on, she'll be flashing late. WHAITIRI (5) ended his winless run with a 1L victory last start as favourite and he can go on with the job. A LOT OF CLASS (2) can feature fresh off a 75-day break. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nobildonna goes on top. |

COUNTRY COMFORT PERTH HANDICAP 1200m
Just a moderate tempo without an obvious speed influence. SOUTHLAND (7) stormed over the top to win by 0.4L as favourite on debut. He has drawn wide, but he has plenty of upside and the extra journey looks ideal for him. Likely to get back again but should be finishing off strongly late in the race to remain unbeaten. HILLSIDE HORACE (6) jumped favourite last start but could only manage a 2.3l defeat at this track and trip 75 days ago. Freshened since then and hopefully that will see him return to his best form which stacks up well in this field. Can bounce back. BOLTA (5) was only 2.1L away last start after being slowly away from a wide barrier in a strong effort. Now drawn a better gate, he should be just off the speed and Faithfull knows him well. Can go a couple better without surprising. WEATHER QUEEN (10) pulled up with an issue at Albany but showed plenty of talent on debut. Expecting her to bounce back today. DISCUSS (9) got the job done here narrowly last start and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Southland looks the one to beat. |

HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY PAUL OBRIEN HANDICAP 1400m
Little early speed on offer so On The Mark should be prominent. IRONCLAD BOY (6) scored a good win two back in this grade before tackling a C2 over this course and distance where he was edged out narrowly. Faithfull hopping on board is a big tick and he may be able to hold a closer position today. Racing well and can go one better this time. ON THE MARK (2) made it two wins from his last 3 starts with a dominant 5.7L victory when leading throughout as the $1.55 favourite. The draw is a niggle, though he has never missed the placings at this track and trip. Last start effort is hard to ignore and he looks a leading chance once again. THE RUSH (3) finished 3.7L behind a good winner at this track and trip 42 days ago when jumping a $4.40 elect. Galati rides now from a good gate and she should get her chance to be in the finish. ENTICING (9) just missed behind Ironclad Boy 24 days ago to suggest he's knocking on the door. Can feature again. COLLECTIVE (10) is nicely placed to be in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ironclad Boy goes on top. |
