Fast tempo assured with Funky Music, Bloomington and Just Nuisance going at each other early in the piece. POCKET WATCH (7) is better than his last start run at the Vaal would suggest. He won his maiden over this course and distance. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his wide draw and may be hard to peg back. BLOOMINGTON (2) stayed on well when second of nine over this course and distance last time. He takes a drop in class and must be included in all bets. FUNKY MUSIC (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the placings last start over 1700m at this track. This doesn't look as hard and he rates well as one of the main chances. RAGNAR LOTHBROK (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track. He jumps from a good draw of four and in a fitter state has solid place claims.
