Poppy Boxer should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. BRIGHT LEGEND (4) returns from a 27-week lay-off for a new stable. Raced three times in the maiden campaign, all at Kembla in the 1400-1500m range, and wasn't far away on each occasion. Finds a far easier assignment to kick off this time so she looks the testing material. MYALABY (12) has been run off her feet in two 1000m sprints this prep but made late ground each time. Looking for this trip now so although a two-year-old taking on older horses she is a key contender. MISS ADAMAS (7) recorded her tenth minor placing in 16 starts when a closing third over 1000m at Muswellbrook recently. Can cross from the wide alley and race handy. Each-way chance again. The lightly raced POPPY BOXER (9) did a fair job to finish third as favourite last time out over 1100m at Narromine. Plenty of improvement to come. First starter SHUTTER (10) is worth monitoring for market support. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen to be on Bright Legend.
