Mitsukane Pluto should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest. KIMON APPLE (12) has put together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on April 3 over 900m when she got home by a neck. Finds a tougher race but another win is not out of the question. MITSUKANE PLUTO (6) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up run. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. LA LA CHANDON (3) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. Has found the right race and is worth including. SUN DUBUQUE (11) returns from a spell of nine weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 12th over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Under the care of new trainer Katsuyoshi Uchida this prep. Can make his presence felt while fresh and with a drop back to NAR level.
