Genuine tempo expected with a few pressing forward. EARL OF KENDAL (7) wasn't that far away first-up at Pakenham in a handy race. Drops in grade this time around and has a nice draw. Won't be too far away. FINE WEATHER (1) was off a break when he hit the line solidly at Pakenham first-up. Strips fitter this time and the rise in trip is a plus. Has to be considered. ZILZIE LAD (2) is working up to a win after filling a place in past two starts at Pakenham. Drops in grade this time and is expected to run well. ZASCEED (5) was placed two starts back at Bendigo before just battling at Kyneton last time. This looks a better assignment and he can bounce back.
