Plenty of early pressure from Sifnos, White Shark and Toa Kalakaua battling for the lead over Raging Thrust. SIFNOS (7) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 2 lengths away in third over 1400m at this track. Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. TOA KALAKAUA (12) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by a neck over today's journey at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins and two placings. Leading player. RAGING THRUST (10) is back at the races for the first time since December 30. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1800m at this track. One to consider. SEED THE BREAK (11) has been thereabouts lately and is in the right race to rediscover his winning form. Each way.
