Plenty of pace likely from River Noire and Miss Mucinni battling for the lead from Niance. NIANCE (7) has won both starts since coming to Australia and under the care of Grahame Begg, winning dominantly over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside last time out. She's got good speed and looks a mare that continues through the grades. LITTLE MISS KUBI (1) wasn't far away in a bunched finish first up at this track and distance behind a smart one. Fitter for that and back to her own sex here. Rates well. RIVER NOIRE (4) should be ready to peak with two runs back. She was close up at Caulfield last start and can figure. DAZZLING LUCY (2) resumes. She'll be better over a little bit further but has the class to get into the finish.
