Plenty of pace from Something Great, Pomme Verte and Daihasshu vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. RIKEA BLACK (1) has strung together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on April 19 over 1400m when he scored by one length. Winning rider Toru Takeyoshi retains the mount. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. ORENO AIBA (6) is racing well. Scored at this track two back then finished third, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 1400m at this track at the latest appearance two-and-a-half weeks ago. Yet to miss the placings here at this trip, including six wins. Best form puts him right in this. FELSITE (10) raced on the speed last start over this course and distance and stuck on well to finish second, beaten 4 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. TAYLOR TESORO (4) started at $4.10 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 6 lengths, at this track over 1750m. Has a strong record here, including seven wins. Can sneak into the finish.
