Expecting Sant Gervasi to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. FLYING ARTISAM (2) excellent return when he sat on the good speed before tiring late with a narrow head second over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Expected to have come on strongly with that run out of the way and gets map favours. Top-three contender. MERINI (4) solid Australian debut when she wound up strongly from midfield to finish a close-up second over 1100m at Wyong. Likely to go back from the gate and be ridden for luck. Expected to get through the going and sure to be thereabouts. SANT GERVASI (11) sharp improver third-up when taken to the front with the 59kg and gripped on to finish a tidy second over 1200m at Bathurst. Will roll forward and give plenty of cheek. RISING REVOLUTION (9) nice filly resuming. Closed strongly last September when third over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Ran seventh in a recent trial over 900m at Rosehill. Lugging bit goes on and stays in the calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flying Artisan and Merini can fight it out.
