Easiest Choice should find the front with Trooper and Fan Harder on her heels. Tough race to end the day. HARLEX (3) racing in great heart and due for a change of luck. Covered a stack of ground in the run when he sat on the speed for a tough third over 1200m at this track. Comes back a level and likes the rain-affected tracks. CHIX (2) progressive filly starting to build a good winning CV. Came back slightly in grade with fighting on-pace victory second-up over 1300m at Illawarra Grange. Winkers go on from the inside gate and will prove hard to get past. TROOPER (5) in career best form and deserves his chance in provincial grade after the three latest wins. Shouldered the 61.5kg when he led throughout for a soft win over 1200m at Moruya in BM58 grade. Has a sticky gate to contend with and not to be underestimated. COOL LAD (9) at his top for this and drops in weight from the inside draw. May have felt the firm surface when fifth over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Gets his desired conditions with the key jockey change. SUGGESTED PLAY: Harlex and Chix shape as the two leading contenders.
