Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a keen tempo. JOHNNY TIGHTLIPS (5) has just found one better in both runs to date and looks nicely placed to go one better. He was well backed and beaten by the barest of margins at Kilmore last start and any further improvement will see him very hard to hold out despite a wide gate. ANGLESEA (2) ran a strong race first up over this route, showing speed and fighting on gamely for a narrow defeat. He can improve off that and maps for every chance here which could be key. ATELLA MISS (8) resumes off a long spell, now with the Matt Laurie yard. Two runs to date have been in town and she's won a jumpout leading in. Expecting a strong run. ALLUMEUSE (1) ran a solid race first up at Werribee and has each-way claims. NEDHAMMER HEN (6) could run well first time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Johnny Tightlips to win.
