Expecting a strong gallop with N K Saibo and Parme Ciel taking up the running over Dawn Luce. DAWN LUCE (4) is a progressive three-year-old colt who hasn't raced since finishing second over 1800m at this track on December 5 which was the only run of that prep. Goes well when fresh including a win and one minor placing. Has good early toe so should be handy in the run. Will give a great sight. PETERSEN (5) broke through for his maiden win over 1600m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Yano stays aboard and he cannot be discounted. ROAD LUCE (3) has recorded three minor placings from three starts this preparation, the latest when second as a well-fancied conveyance over 1800m at this track. Form sound without winning and he is a real danger. RISING STEP (1) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths over 1800m. Deserves another chance.
