AND I LOVE HER (3) boxed on to finish second last start over 1400m at Tokyo, beaten half a length when resuming as favourite. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of running a bold race. BASILEUS CITY (4) closed last prep with a tenth over 1200m at Fukushima on April 7. Worth noting that he opened the last campaign with a minor placing at Sonoda over 1400m. Should camp just off the leaders and be in the finish. JUNE BLAIR (6) has not been sighted since she finished sixth over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt on April 13. Credentials hard to knock. ANTANO BALLADE (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 19 when beaten 1.5 lengths into fifth at Niigata over 1400m after being prominent until the final stages. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
