FREEWAY STAKES 1400m Track: STANDARD
A solid tempo anticipated with Vega Risu and Travelog engaging in an early battle ahead of Cosmo Espada and Win Monarch. SHADOW FURY (12) is racing well. Scored at this track two back then finished second, beaten a neck, over 1400m here at the latest appearance four weeks ago. Sound record at this distance with two wins and four minor placings from seven runs and is a leading contender. TINIA (9) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fourth when fresh from a spell two starts back at Nakayama then improved and scored as public elect over 1200m at Nakayama five weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. VEGA RISU (13) was there at the corner and finished third last start over 1400m at this circuit beaten a long neck. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. In the right race and is a key runner. FROM DUSK (8) grade 2 placegetter. Finished fourth over 1400m at Hanshin at his most recent appearance on March 3. Makes plenty of appeal.
