A solid tempo is on the cards with Smart Carina and Ken Bridge Knight pushing for the lead ahead of Acqua Virile and Wide Raid. ACQUA VIRILE (1) has really found form this campaign scoring at four on end, including an effortless 4-length win over 1300m at this track last time. Will go close again on recent form. KEN BRIDGE KNIGHT (8) added to a frustrating run of minor placings last start when beaten one length into second over 1400m at this track. Expected to play a significant role. The well-named SMART CARINA (5) got the prize two runs ago here but was safely held last time out when fifth over 1400m at this track. Well placed to make amends. WIDE RAID (4) was prominent at the bend and finished third last time over 1300m at this track when resuming from a spell. Will trim down second-up and is nicely placed to run well again.
