SMILING PROPHET (12) has good credentials over this track and trip and will appreciate the fast tempo with the senior rider going aboard fourth-up. Back in trip and launched late with a creditable sixth over 900m at Newcastle. No shock to see her finish over the top of these. GAIL JEANETTE (9) smart Bathurst-trained mare building a good winning CV. Up sharply in grade with a slick on-pace win over 1000m at Dubbo in fast time. Deserves her shot here and not without place prospects. THE WOLF (1) comes to the provincials for the first time this campaign after running second over 1010m at Port Macquarie.
