Expected to be very competitive. NISHINO CARO (1) improved last start but found a couple better over 1300m at this track, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. PIANO ACCORD (7) has switched yards since finishing tenth six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Comes here with definite top-three claims. K TWO SCUDO (4) missed the placings last start when 16th over 1800m at Tokyo. Goes from the JRA circuit to an inferior race today and is capable of featuring prominently.
