Expecting Ardie Three to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. VENOM RUSH (9) didn't measure up in Listed company at the latest effort but the form prior was full of merit. Has placed two from two over this track and trip and is sure to find this contest much more to his liking. Will be hitting the line with gusto. METAL MAN (2) hit the frame at the Gold Coast when resuming and gets the services of Melbourne Cup-winning hoop Dolan in the stirrups. Don't dismiss lightly. ARDIE THREE (4) looked handy winning at the Sunny Coast when facing the starter for the first time and Lang stays on top. Can go back-to-back to start the career. BOOMSHANKA (13) gets in well at the weights with the claim and is nicely placed to play a pivotal role. HERALD ANGEL (14) next in line out of the Dunn camp. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 9,2,4.
