Just a moderate tempo without an obvious speed influence. BOSS 'N' HIGHHEELS (6) will be suited by the small field, and with the step up to open class, she will carry the minimum 54kg here. She handles the poly track and should go close to taking this out. MOTIONTIME (3) beat a very smart poly track performer 6 weeks ago, and that form has since been franked. She is meeting a similar field, and can make it back-to-back wins. VIVACIOUS (4) finished fourth behind the top pick the last time they met, and she meets her on better terms at the weights this time. A good draw should see her right in the finish again. LA BELLA NERA (2) peaked on her run when resuming at Oamaru 11 days ago, and she has performed well on the poly track here in the past. She had throat surgery during her spell, and she will be looking to make up for a modest campaign earlier in the season. She has a good gate and should be a quick improver. THIRD DECREE (1) was not far away here 6 weeks ago, and this is her pet trip. Include in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boss 'N' Highheels to win.
