RYUNO HINAGIKU (2) returned last time with a solid third at Funabashi over 1200m when she made late ground. Facing a tougher assignment but she is capable of a big run. VAINQUEUR CITY (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing eighth at this track over 1400m. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise.
