It's likely to be tactical given scant early speed. GYPSY WISH (7) was in the money two starts back at Gold Coast but couldn't back it up last time when sixth over a longer journey. Perhaps didn't run the trip last time, so happy to see her dropping back. Won't find this as tough. FRICTIONAL FORCE (8) did well last start but found a couple better over 2245m at Grafton, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Strips rock-hard fit now and should be making his presence felt again. ESCAPE BEACH (6) went forward last start over 1590m at Ballina and held on well for second, beaten a length. Looks well placed so expect another big run. KISS'N DANCE (1) has been warming nicely late without threatening. If he can settle closer to the action from the inside pillar he's right in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gypsy Wish gets the nod.
