BIG GATE (3) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1400m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. LONG SUCCESSION (7) improved last start but found a couple better over 1500m at this track. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. KUTSUWA FAMILY (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish sixth over 1400m at this track. One of the main contenders. MANON ROUGE (6) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 1500m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. In contention this time.
