Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and is expected to feature. KITASAN EPONA (9) lines up for the first time since November 26. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1500m at this track. Expect her to play a major role. CRISP OF WAR (13) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1200m at Funabashi. Top-three hope. ESORA (6) produced another moderate effort last start when ninth over 1200m at Funabashi. No surprise to see him in contention.
