Just a moderate tempo headed by Seasmoke, My Catalyst and Carramar. MASAKARI (3) is a lightly raced gelding heading in the right direction. Improved sharply at his second race start with an eye-catching third over 1400m at Wangaratta. Duffy keeps the ride from the inside gate and is expected to go close. SEASMOKE (15) worked hard early from the wide gate with a fading sixth over the mile at Wagga. This looks easier from the good gate. Each way. CARRAMAR (5) had mixed luck in the three career runs and steps up to the 1400m for the first time. In a leading yard and not to be overlooked. MO SPIRIT (16) likely to add some value, if he can improve on his run here last time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Masakari looks hard to catch.
