Plenty of speed from Chon Choro Chon and Shimme Elite. SHIMME ELITE (3) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 6 lengths over 1400m at this track. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jumps from a nice gate and she is a key runner. EDONO JET (10) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 1.75 lengths away in third over 1500m at Funabashi. Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. CHON CHORO CHON (7) led all the way to score on debut over 1400m at this track nine weeks ago and has not appeared since. Has upside and is well placed to feature again. CASTLE PRIDE (6) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when second, beaten a neck, at Funabashi over 1200m. Looks a definite top-three candidate.
